Different Spas Require Different Service

A portable hot tub contains compact equipment beneath its cabinet. An attached spa commonly shares circulation and heating equipment with the pool. A stand-alone in-ground spa may have its own pump, heater, blower and controls. The configuration determines the correct diagnostic approach.

Common concerns include failure to heat, poor circulation, error codes, leaking, noisy pumps or blowers, inoperative jets and control problems.

Heating and Circulation

A spa that does not heat may have a circulation restriction, sensor or control fault, heater problem or power/gas-supply issue. Diagnosis begins with the system type and reported behavior.

Leaks and Water Loss

Portable spas may leak at accessible pumps, heaters, unions or plumbing behind the cabinet. In-ground systems may require a different leak-detection process.

Before Scheduling

Provide the brand, model, displayed error code, whether the spa is portable or built in, and clear photos of the equipment and control panel. Access limitations and parts availability can affect serviceability.
