We use this technical information to operate, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot the Website.
- How We Use Information
We may use personal information to:
• Respond to questions and service inquiries;
• Contact you about an estimate, appointment, inspection, service, or repair;
• Determine whether we serve your location;
• Provide and administer requested or existing services;
• Maintain customer and service records;

We do not use Website inquiries to enroll visitors in an SMS marketing program.
- How We Disclose Information
We may disclose personal information in the following limited circumstances:
Service Providers
We may provide information to companies or individuals that help us operate our business, such as:
• Website-hosting and technical-support providers;
• Email and communications providers;
• Scheduling or customer-record service providers;
• Accountants, insurers, attorneys, and other professional advisers; and
• Contractors or technicians involved in responding to or performing requested services.
These parties receive information only as reasonably necessary to perform services for us or on our behalf.
Legal and Safety Reasons
We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:
• Comply with a law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or lawful government request;
• Protect the rights, safety, or property of Spectrum Pool Care, our customers, or others;
• Investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or suspected unlawful activity; or
• Establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim.
Business Transfers
If Spectrum Pool Care is involved in a merger, sale, reorganization, financing, transfer of assets, or similar business transaction, relevant information may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
With Your Direction or Consent
We may disclose information for another purpose when you direct us to do so or provide consent.
- No Sale or Sharing for Behavioral Advertising
Spectrum Pool Care does not sell personal information for money.
We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use advertising pixels or targeted-advertising networks on the Website.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
- Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising Technologies
Spectrum Pool Care does not currently use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party behavioral-advertising trackers on the Website.
The Website or hosting provider may use cookies or similar technical functions that are strictly necessary for security, basic operation, form functionality, or session management. These are not used by Spectrum Pool Care to build advertising profiles or track visitors across unrelated websites.
Because we do not use targeted-advertising systems, browser “Do Not Track” signals generally do not alter our practices.
We also do not currently process Global Privacy Control signals as opt-out requests because we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If our practices change, we will update this Policy and honor legally required preference signals.
- Communications
If you contact us, we may use the telephone number or email address you provide to respond to your inquiry and communicate about requested or existing services.
Such communications may concern:
• Questions you submitted;
• Estimates or appointments;
• Service scheduling or access;
• Pool or equipment conditions;
• Repair recommendations;
• Existing service or account matters; and
• Customer-support follow-up.
Spectrum Pool Care does not operate an SMS marketing program through the Website.
We may occasionally send a non-text promotional email to a customer or person who has communicated with us, where permitted by law. You may ask us to stop sending promotional emails by following any unsubscribe instructions in the email or contacting us directly.
Even after an opt-out request, we may send non-promotional communications reasonably necessary to respond to an inquiry, administer services, address safety concerns, or comply with legal obligations.
- No Online Payments
Spectrum Pool Care does not collect or process payments through the Website.
Do not enter credit-card numbers, bank-account details, or other financial information into a general Website contact form or ordinary email.
If you make a payment through a method arranged separately from the Website, information associated with that transaction may be handled by the bank, payment service, or other provider involved. That provider’s privacy policy will govern its handling of your financial information.
- No Employment Applications Through the Website
Spectrum Pool Care does not currently collect employment applications through the Website.
Please do not send Social Security numbers, driver’s-license copies, tax information, medical information, or other sensitive employment records through a Website contact form or ordinary email.
If we establish a formal online employment-application process in the future, we will provide any additional privacy disclosures required for that process.
- Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to:
• Respond to an inquiry;
• Provide and document services;
• Maintain business and customer records;
• Address warranties, disputes, or insurance matters;
• Meet accounting, tax, contractual, and legal obligations; and
• Protect the security and integrity of our systems.
Retention periods vary depending on the type of information, the nature of the relationship, and applicable legal requirements.
We may delete information when it is no longer reasonably needed, subject to backup cycles, legal holds, and recordkeeping obligations.
- Information Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures appropriate to the nature of the information we maintain.
However, no website, email system, server, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You provide information electronically at your own risk.
Email and general Website forms should not be used to transmit highly sensitive or confidential information.
If we become aware of a data-security incident, we will investigate and provide any notice required by applicable law.
- Your Privacy Choices
You may contact us to:
• Ask what personal information we maintain about you;
• Request correction of inaccurate contact information;
• Request deletion of information, subject to legal and operational exceptions;
• Update your communication preferences; or
• Ask a question about our privacy practices.
We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We may retain information when reasonably necessary to complete services, maintain business records, comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or exercise legal rights.
- California Privacy Rights
California law provides certain consumers with privacy rights. The rights available to you depend on the circumstances and on which California privacy laws apply to Spectrum Pool Care and the particular information.
Where required by applicable law, California residents may have the right to request:
• The categories of personal information collected;
• The categories of sources from which personal information was collected;
• The purposes for collecting, using, or disclosing personal information;
• The categories of third parties to whom information was disclosed;
• The specific pieces of personal information maintained about the consumer;
• Correction of inaccurate personal information;
• Deletion of personal information, subject to exceptions;
• Information concerning any sale or sharing of personal information; and
• Equal service and freedom from unlawful discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
Spectrum Pool Care does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
To submit a privacy request, contact us using the information at the end of this Policy. Please describe your request clearly and provide enough information for us to identify relevant records.
We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and authority. An authorized agent may submit a request when permitted by California law, but we may require proof of authorization and appropriate identity verification.
We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
- California “Shine the Light” Disclosure
California’s “Shine the Light” law may permit California residents to request information about certain disclosures of personal information to third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes.
Spectrum Pool Care does not disclose personal information to unaffiliated third parties for those third parties’ own direct-marketing purposes.
- Children’s Privacy
The Website is intended for adults seeking pool-related services and is not directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through the Website. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
- Third-Party Websites
The Website may contain links to websites operated by manufacturers, government agencies, professional associations, social-media services, or other third parties.
We do not control the privacy, security, content, or data-handling practices of third-party websites. This Privacy Policy does not apply to information you provide directly to those websites.
Review the privacy policy of a third-party website before providing it with personal information.
- Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our Website, services, technology, or legal obligations change.
When we revise the Policy, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top. The revised Policy becomes effective when posted unless a different effective date is stated.
If we make a material change to how we handle information already collected, we will provide any additional notice required by law.
